Belmont Music Centre

Belmont Music Centre provides instrumental tuition for primary and intermediate students (from age seven onwards). The aim of the Music Centre is to provide an enriching musical experience that will prepare students for joining in with their own school’s programme. Lessons are available in cello, violin, recorder, saxophone, flute, clarinet, guitar, drums, trumpet and keyboard.

Group lessons are held at Belmont Intermediate School on Saturday mornings and are partially funded by the Ministry of Education.

  • small group lessons (up to 8 students)
  • lessons are free with an annual subscription/admin fee of $150 per year
  • instruments are available for hire $80 - $130 per year
  • children take part in orchestra, bands and ensembles
