Curriculum
Belmont Intermediate School fulfills the requirements of the National Curriculum. Students are taught mainly in homeroom classes, with specialist teaching of Technology, the Arts, Science, Japanese and Mandarin.

Specialist Subjects
Specialist classes provide an exciting and often new learning experience for our students. Class sizes are small to allow for individual attention. Students are grouped across their teaching and learning teams and participate in all specialist subjects over the year.
Japanese and Mandarin are taught in full classes; Year 8 learns Mandarin for the first half of the year so students are prepared for the China exchange in the second half of the year. Year 7 learns Japanese for terms 3 and 4.
